  17. My X-1541 cable works GREAT on my 486-SX-33 Gateway 
  18. Laptop...  along with a 386-SX-20...

  20. but when I connect it to my 486-DX2-66 (with Enhanched 
  21. Parallel Port), it WILL NOT....

  23.   I repeat...

  25.       WILL NOT work!

  27. I had to install a regular LPT port inside that system to 
  28. get it to work....

  30. So.... maybe your cable *IS* built correctly.... and your 
  31. parallel port is too fast for it!!!
